Has anyone tried HRCaptDA on their TX? Are DA's generally safe or should one stay away from them?
Please keep in mind, I do know what a DA is and have used quite a few on previous machines... just wanting to be cautious with the newer operating system, etc.
Thanks,
Brian

Bump,
I was also waiting to use DA's on the TX until I heard good reports.
I've been running DA Launcher 5.1b4 on my TX for a while now, with no visible ill effects. Currently have CoolDAs, Call Lookup, KDIC, Melody, and MemoPad DAs loaded.
Remember that with DAs, nothing gets loaded until you launch the DA, so conflicts only arise between actual applications and the DAs you're using. I'll have to try HRCaptDA and let you know how it goes :)

_Em,
Thanks for the information. Please let me know how HRCaptDA works for you. What is the functionality of KDIC and Melody?
KDIC DA works with the KDIC dictionary; select a word in any program, launch the DA, and it puts a floating bubble over the app with the definition of that word in it (or translation, if you have the translation dictionaries installed).
MelodyDA works with the Melody Editor app - it basicly brings up a piano keyboard that you can use to find your musical pitches, or press record and record MIDI files in realtime. The resulting file opens in Melody Editor for fine tuning of the midi sequence.
Update: I've tried HRCaptDA now, and it works great... with a few bugs. The viewing app sometimes garbles the display elements in the file viewer mode... however, it displays the screen captures just fine, and the DA itself runs flawlessly.

I have tried it as well. The viewing program doesn't seem to want to work for me when saving to the card as a BMP file, but other than that the DA works fine.
