Can the NZ 90 's Bluetooth function work with A Sony Ti68 from either ATT or Cingulair. Sony says that they only support T-Mobile, but the guy didn't know too much. Is bluetooth better/faster than a wireless lan network. I'm new to this stuff. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks All

I don't see why it wouldn't work. The NZ doesn't care which provider you use, as long as they haven't changed the bluetooth implementation in the phones (which is unlikely) you should be fine.

Are you asking can you use the web access capabilities of your web enabled phone to connect to the internet, via the bluetooth connection? Yes you can. From my understanding, if you have ATT or Cingulair, you need to use their data services to do so. With T-Mobile you apparently can use the phone to dial your ISP, which while slower, you don't incur any data charges, which you do with ATT. Hope that helps

I have Cingular in Philadelphia and I use my T68i to connect my NZ90 to the internet. I connect using Cingular Express on the GPRS network. Most sources led me to believe that you needed GPRS active on your GSM phone to utilize the T68i's connection. I've since also successfully connected using the standard Cingular Home internet plan.

In short: Yes you can use Cingular. Sony's downloadable "Mobile Connection Wizard" has included settings for Cingular Phones.

Also: Don't bother downloading drivers for your phone. The "Mobile Connection Wizzard" provides all the files and settings you need and enables you to download them to your phone using Palm Desktop when you Syncronize.

I'm using an NZ70, hook to a T68i using BlueTooth (which is so much nicer than IR, as no line of sight is required), and access the Net using AT&T GSM/GPRS service. The Mobile Connection Wizard does support AT&T as well.

Hello,

The T68i is the easy to set up just add to init string the following, at+cgdcont=1,"IP","APN" and for the dial up string *99***1# now besure to have on the T68i the settings for your internet in the CDN 1 read your T68! instructions for this.

Hi,

sorry when I am not able to answer to your problem, but I have a concret request: I have a NX70 and tryed nearly all SMS apps on the market. The only, I am satisfied with, is the one for the NZ from SONY directly.

Do you see any chance, maybe cause of easter :-), to send me this sms.prc file? I also would share something nice from my 3rd party apps as a, lets say "consideration". Mail me at mrmacmax@mac.com

I have heard something about necessary GSM driver. Maybe these too ?

Thank you very much!!!
