I have a ux 50 for 3 years. Does the ux 50 takes good pictures? I think I had a problem with my camera from the beginning. When I try to take a still picture or a movie I see some interference or some little dot, the guy at the sony store told me it was because it was 1x camera. But when I try to play around with the settings The image is way smaller, and the image is crisp. Do you guys have the same problem with taking picture, or you could get crisp image with the ux 50.

thanks for you input anyone.

And to replace a camera, does sony still service the ux 50? Or is there some 3rd party place that does it.

Well, I'll tell you that the UX50 camera is nowhere near the quality of even really cruddy cellphones nowadays. Our camera isn't even a megapixel. My pictures have always been grainy, noticably bad, and only of 640X480 resolution. It's not a big deal to me, maybe you just need to buy a camera and use it in conjunction with your UX50.

Do you see how clear it looks in the setting mode. the screen is alot smaller, but the image is real nice.

But thanks, I thought I was the only one that had that problem.
