LD Update increased the white noise

After installing my update I noticed that whenever I plugged the earphones or when I started a sound using application a very noticeable white noise started to sound (noticeable even from the back speaker)

Has anyone been through the same thing and knows how to solve it?

I thought the LD update would solve all the sound issues... :(

Yep, I've been trying to get one, but we don't have Radioshack's in our country and every store I go tells me that they only have earphones with volume control but no volume control extension alone... :mad:

In any case, I've almost got used to the white noise, and now I'm trying to get used to the overheating and battery draining...

You probably can get it on the web for cheap. Take a look on ebay for example.

Yep, I'm also planning to build noise reduction system. My plan is to use 3mm plug, jack and one 20 ohm resistor.
