I've been away from the Forum for a week or so now and I wanted to see if there has been any new news on the WL110. I didn't see anything on the Wirless or General threads so I'm assuming there hasn't been much discovered on the unit yet. Anything...............?

Seems that Best Buy and some other stores are clearing out their stock for the new WL110. $66 for one, that comes to $16 after rebate!!

rumor has it the web site still charges full price, but if you go to a store, it's reduced. The web site should also say you can't do in-store pick up (since it's clearanced).

Yeah, I just got mine from BB last night as soon as I read it here on cliesource. All they had were open boxes and they were 54.99 as open complete items. After taxes and rebates I would've paid around 12 bucks! What a deal for a wireless card!! :D

Hmm. I just read the small print on the rebate. Not valid on open box or refurbished items. You may not get that rebate check after all.
I did the same thing.

I don't know about you, but I got a rebate receipt for it, I'll be making a copy of it and still send it in to see whether I'll get it or not... the discount I got for it being an open box was a lot less than the rebate. I asked the girl to print it out for me, but you're right, it didn't print out automatically.

I went to Circuit City yesterday and they had unopened boxes that were selling for $149.99. There was a sticker on the rack pricetag that mentioned the $50.00 rebate as well. In other words, you guys are getting lucky with the open box units! If you can also get away with getting the rebate in addition to the mark-down....GO FOR IT!

For those of us who bought open items just call the phone # at the bottom and tell the person you purchased it new but the box was in such bad condition I got them to lower the price.
