I have an easier way to avoid problems installing the ROM update for the LifeDrive, btw. Hard reset first, and do the install under a different user name (like ROM Update, which creates a user folder called UpdateR, kinda cool). Then hard reset again and restore under your own username. Works flawlessly every time.
