The "coming soon" sign have come off for some Clie models at cliebattery.com. Right now, the site lists batteries available for

* PEG-NX60, NX70VL, PEG-NV and PEG-NR70 series

* PEG-N610C, PEG-N710C and PEG-N760C series

With the following still as "coming soon":

* PEG-T415 series

* PEG-SL10, SJ-20 and PEG-SJ30 series

* PEG-T665, and PEG-T665C, Clie 65 and PEG-T615C/S series

* NZ90 and all NZ series

Anybody want to try one and let us know how it works out?

No. I believe they are supposed to be same as the existing batteries. They are meant as replacement for batteries that can no longer hold a charge.

Lithium batteries, even though they don't suffer the memory effect, supposedly only have a maximum life span of 2 years or so, even if they are not charged and discharged that often. After that, they have trouble holding a charge. I haven't experience any drastic change with mine, yet, but it's only been about a little more than a year. I would like a replacement option, however.

Here's a previous discussion on this topic: http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2961

But the TG50 is still new. Why would you want to replace the battery now?

By the time the TG50 needs replacement batteries, cliebattery dot com or some other companies will definitely come up with one. :)

Are they REALLY selling SL10 batteries???

It's the first place I've seen selling AAA batterries...:D

Now seriously... As far as I know, there's no way you can use these batteries with an SL10... They should delete it...
