Recommend MemoryStick?

I want to upgrade to a 2GB MS. Which MS do you recommend? Does the TH55 support the 2GB MS Duo? I'm used to play MP3s with PocketTunes, do I need a MagicGate MS?

Any brand 2GB MS stick should work. Don't get a 4GB stick (that causes problems)

The TH55 does not handle DUO sticks directly. You need the stick extended/adapter. I don't recommend this because the extenders I've tried can get stuck in the TH55. Also the DUOs are more expensive.

You don't need a "Magic Gate" MS for MP3s, however all MS Pro sticks have "Magic Gate" stamped on them. Ignore it.

Thanks for the info! In fact, the Duo sticks i found on ebay here in germany are slightly cheaper (even with the adapter) than the 2GB sandisk MS.

Don't get the black memory sticks larger then 1gig from Sony.
Sony itself said that they won't work on Clies.

Do you mean the formatting problem ?
