I have a chance to buy one of these for cdn300. Now the guy tells me he can't find the dock but he has the ac adaptor.

Question 1: Can you charge without the dock?

Question 2: Do they still sell accessories at local stores?

Question 3: Where can I get a dock or is anyone selling any?

Question 4: Any alternatives (Brando Case soldout)

The is a seller on ebay has seveal options for the UX40/50. They sell an after market cradle for charging with adaptors for USB/wall/car charging. They also sell a charging case with the same options. They are located in China but have 5-6 day delivery to the US. I have used their charging cases before, better than Brando. Their prices are around $30. Their ebay user name is wongcheung, they have 11,000+ positive feedback with no negatives at all.

Yea I can back that up. I bought a charging cradle from that seller about a month ago and it has worked great. I'm almost positive it is the same cradle being sold by Brando. It's a really nice dock replacement though. It allows charging through a regular ac adapter (not a ux specific one) or through usb. It only took about 3 days to recieve the cradle too.

Decided against buying. Found a complete set minus the disk for 250. Now I just need a car charger. Any ideas?
