Link, I think you are responding to a comment I made about a question that you had about OS 5. Let me simplify. Putting Pocket PC on a Palm device or OS 5 on an OS 4 or previous device is like trying to put a square peg in a round hole. And, the peg is titanium and you are trying to hit it with a 500lb sledge hammer. It just can not be done. Besides, even thinking of putting Pocket PC on a palm is pure blasphemy.

Pocket PC is for micro$oft powered devices that run the pocket PC OS. Palm OS runs on palm devices.

Incremental updates are possible, such as 4.0 to 4.1, or 3.0 to 3.1, but not from 3.x to 4.x or from 4.x to 5.x. In terms of operating systems, you can make incremental updates (which are usually bug fixes), but not jumping a full number.

Disclaimer: there are some programs that make it look like pocket PC is on you palm and some emulators that will run palm programs on a pocket PC.
