Hi all,
I just received my NX70V with WL100 card and was eager to try the Wifi in my dorm.. But to no luck.. :( I set everything in place, SSD and WEP.. there are all set and I can also connect to the network. But I was not able to surf at all, it shows "Timed Out"(or something like that.. cause mine is in Japanese). I was thinking about the PPPoE thing to be the problem..
When connecting to the network using a computer (built in wifi card), besides connecting to the network. We are also required to make a new Internet Connection "PPPoE" (that requires us to enter our userid and passwd) to be able to "actually" connect to the network. Basically, we need to enter our userid and passwd to able to use the internet access.
I don't see that the driver (ver 1.2) has the option of entering our userid and passwd when connecting to an access point. Is there any solution to this? Or does that mean that I won't be able to use the wifi? :( :( cause that will really upset me as I bought it to use the wifi..
Thank you
