View Full Version : I'll be gone for a week.[Friday night]

I'll be gone till Friday night. I am staying off all the forums I visit for a week. I got 25 bookmarked and registered at. I choose to deny myself messageboards/forums for the Lord. I am doing something I don't want to do to work for the Lord and save people. I won't be able to moderate at the 2 forums I'm a moderator and I won't be reading any posts for a week either. I will still be on my computer and talking to my friends online and some that are from forums. I won't be asking for what people are posting and I don't want to be told. I won't even visit the frontpage of any forum site. I am making this sacrifice.

My friend and I will be keeping check with each other and praying. Goodbye and I'll be back Friday night. Even if Palm suddenly went under and was bought buy a random Asian company, I'll be gone doing my homework, reading the bible, or hanging with friends. I'm not saying forums are evil, I'm denying myself for a week and letting myself do more Godly things.

That is really great of you. I don't think I could be able to do that... (I couldn't on vacation :()

I return...
No forums for a week and its great to be back. I am glad that I did this, I was able to spend my time doing other things. I realise now how much I thrived on forums in my life and it was getting a little out of hand. Great to be back.

I wouldn't look to pretty. And would get about 200 emails telling me someone made a new post. SO MUCH PRESSURE!!! :D
