THIS APP SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROCKS!!!!!

This app backs up user-defined apps in near real time so you no longer have to exit Agendus, for example, to do a backup with Backupman or whatever you use for backups. I was skeptical at first but this is a MUST-HAVE APPLICATION for all OS5 handhelds!!!! (Sorry - OS5 only)

Check it out HERE!!! (http://www.northglide.com/onguardbackup.html)

Good to hear as I just bought it 5 minutes ago while I was updating to Uninstall Manager 3. :DYeah, it is really a great app!! I find myself adding more and more apps to it as I identify the need to save certain settings and what not. This app is great for those apps where over the course of the day, you find yourself making little changes, additions and modifications to apps like Agendus, memo, jeez - I think I have about 10 apps in there now and everytime I make a change and close the app, OnGuard does a quick and dirty save for me and I don't have to wory about losing those changes!!

Uninstall Manager 3 is also the bomb!! What an improvement over the legacy interface!! It is nice and clean and modern looking!! This is another one of those mainstay, MUST-HAVES for any device!!

I'm using OnGuard for the following at the moment:

PIM (datebook, contacts, memo, todo)
Ultrasoft Money
SplashID

I might add more over time as I see how well things work with my most important info being backed up immediately.

This app sounds good enough to actually temt me away the built-in Clie backup...which is all I've used since my first Clie.

And BTW...Uninstall Manager 3 does in fact ROCK!! :)

And BTW...Uninstall Manager 3 does in fact ROCK!! :)It really IS too good to be true because it is something every Palm owner has thought about at some time or another. How many times have you done the laborious data entry of a new contact only to lose that contact because something, somewhere went horribly awry and your device loses that data? I think I have lost more contacts than I have contacts. No, that isn't true - but it could have been in another time or another life in a parallel universe far, far away...

Real time back-ups. It's the bomb.

I'm going to have to start deleting the lower end of the "must-have" apps on my device to make room for apps like this one.

Does anyone here know how to back-up SMS/MMS messages using Onguard in real-time?
Which file should I back up?
Also, the Call Log. These two items will be deleted when the Treo resets; so, I guess it's very important to have them backed up in real-time.
