Wow. It took forever to read all the threads to make sure I wasn't dupping something (still not sure).

I've noticed that the Clie Viewer app is VERY slow when looking at pictures in the MS. I've got about 80 jpegs, downloaded using Sony's own Image Converter. (I even reformatted the MS after converting from the NR to the NX just to be safe). It takes many minutes to load all the pics, with all controls suspended while it does so. Since other apps are tied to Clie Viewer, such as Photostand, this is fairly disconcerting.

Any ideas or suggestions? Am I doing something wrong?

No, you aren't doing anything wrong, the Clie Viewer is terrible as it doesn't cache thumbnails.
