greetings fellow members. i'm new here, this is my first post. i found this site about one month ago because i decided to purchase my first palm (its all new to me).this site has been a great source of information. the tx is an extraordinary device, i don't know how i lived without it for so long. :D the question i want to ask is whether it is possible to have multiple palm tx's. i don't have a wireless network yet, so i hotsync through usb (winXP). will i be able to hotsync both devices to the same pc without a problem? the other palm is for someone else but we share a pc.

thank you,
woohooo!

Welcome to 1src, woohoo.

Yes, you can sync multiple palm devices on one PC. Each new Palm device will be asked for a hotsync name. In your case, just sync and give each TX a unique name.

Hi woohoo!. Welcome to the board and congratulations on your new TX.

I read your post and have included a link to the Palm, Inc. Support Knowledge Library that discusses the issue resolution that Joel discussed. The library can also help you with hotsyncing both devices to a single PC:

http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,kb=PalmSupportKB,CASE=obj(5709),ts=Palm_External2001

I hope this helps.

Heather

Don't forget that mltiple devices can sync with Macs. I can help if that's the case.
