One of the reasons why I bought PowerRUN, besides that it ensures that any(or most) applcation from the memory stick, is that it allows you to categorize the applications on the ms. Then I found out that Yishow enables you to do that as well. Can someone tell me what kinds of applications should I use PowerRun for, and when can I simply move the application to /palm/launcher?

Basically apps that need to Hot Sync and apps that have associated databases. Simple apps can go directly into the Palm Launcher folder.

With few exceptions, most should. The shortcut that PowerRun created should have the same Creadtor ID as the app. This is what the Hot Sync Manager looks for first to setup syncing to the conduit.

okay, then, if an application does not need powerrun to run from ms, is it better to use powerrun anyway, or just put it into palm/launcher?

The point of PowerRun is that it takes the application and any associated applications and databases and puts them on the memory stick. For example, Mobipocket is really a number of files all used together: the Mobipocket program, a set of fonts, a set of common images and a bookmark for saving the place of each book you are reading. If you just move mobipocket to the stick, all the rest of the stuff, about 450K, stays on the Clie. PowerRun recognizes that all these programs are associated and moves them all to the stick.
If the program you are using doesn't have any associated applications or databases you can just use the launcher to move it to the stick. If is has such things, then you need a program like PowerRun to move them to the stick and then copy them to main memory when you run the program.
