I use a T665C since recently.
I installed and tested a lot of softwares, removing them, ... probably leaving some residues of database, before selecting my preferred applications.
I would like to test the programs to install with a PALM OS simulator.
What would you suggest to use ?
I think I also need the T665C ROM, is it the case ?
Thanx for your inputs.

AFAIK there isn't any.
The Palm OS Simulator simulates Palm OS Devices only. Palm OS ROMS, and hardware simulation.
Sony uses some different parts, screen in particular... not to mention slightly modified ROM.
And they don't have a Simulator from what I can tell.

There is an Emulator for Clies, but the T665C ROM does not exist for emulating. I use the T615C ROM for my testing. It is basically the same, without the extra multimedia progs added. You can get it at Sony's developer site.

Speaking of this, what database, file, etc. should I delete if I want to get rid of those annoying remants of programs tried that I did not like and now deleted? I tried one and thought that I did not like. I changed my mind later on after reading up on it. I installed it to look at it, but it was dated. I could not look at it because of this (i.e. simplitext and/or something like this). Thanks for your help.

It probably saved some data as a preference. Goto http://www.bellut.net/pilot.html#ppref and get their preference editor. You may have to hunt for the one causing you problems. The easiest way to find it is to get the emulator, check the preferences, install and run the app, then check the preferences again for new ones.

I have downloaded CliePose for T-series from ClieDeveloper.
But it cannot work with ROM of T665C.
Is it work with ROM of T615?
Where do I download Emulator for Clie?
Thank.

The ROM from the T665C is too big, for some reason it will not work with the Emulator. The ROM from the T615 will work fine.
