No idea on a release date. Yes enhanced weather was supposed to be a feature; I can't get ANY weather updates.
At this moment I'm using WeatherManager and CityTime again.
We'll see when/if I get a response form MobiMate.

I have been using WorldMate v9.1 for a while.  It works great if I sync at home (no corporate firewall), but at work (behind a firewall) it will not sync at all.  Could this be the issue that you're facing?

I haven't gone to WM Pro yet.  Is it having a problem apart from the above scenario?  I've been considering upgrading, but I'd like more input first.

As I said, I'm using a beta so you can't upgrade yet unless you request a beta.
I disabled my "firewall"(the one that is available on WinXP) and reinstalled it but it makes no diff. The old conduit from 9.1 works fine.

I am also not getting up to date forecasts and currency rates. A little over a week ago it got the info fine. Then a few days and several hotsyncs later I noticed it didn't have the updates. I have WorldMate Version 9.1 as well.

You mean some of the graphics for WM 6.0 :D. WorldMate 1.0 was released at... 1998!!!

We're already making changes for the release so we're not going to have another round at this time.

OK - time for my worldMate wishlist (register user btw!)

- 320x480 please please please - It really bugs me to have that wasted screen real estate on my Clie NR70/v

- ability to assign weather forecasts without using the list set by WorldMate (I'm currently based in Kingston, Jamaica and it ain't on the list!

- don't release a super version but make having OS 5.0 a requirement; Sony sells plenty of PDA's without software designers 'forcing' people up the upgrade path!

Thanks for the suggestions, and we are currently fully supporting older OSes (OS 4.x...) and will keep doing so until it makes sense :-)
