Does anyone know if you can run Remote Desktop or Terminal Services on Palm OS 5? Or any other similar software like VNC?

I want to buy a new PDA but need this functionality to be able to remotly access my Web Servers for maintenance.

Cheers

Maz

Then this one (http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?sid=439AECA4-5261-4F8A-92639539559034BE&prodID=46656) definitely supports OS5.

How much better is your T665C to your old Vx (besides the obvious black and white to colour difference)?

It was a whole new experience for me. Was mesmerised by the world of High Resolution. Am attached to my PDA even more. MP3,hires games, memory card(stick) support(dictionaries, encyclopedia,Bible, jpegs, mpegs) and many more.

Thanks for that, i currently have the Vx which i've been using for over 2 years now and am looking to upgrade.

Not being able to remotly access my server was gonna make me switch to PocketPC, but to be honest i prefer Palm and MemorySticks so i might got for the TG50.

Wise choice.

Or i may just wait to see what Sony bring out next.

I need a PDA with at least Palm OS5, Bluetooth, Hi-Res screen and as much RAM as possible!

You dont need to wait actually coz what you suggested is already available. Its either the TG50 or the Tungsten T. Knowing Sony, they'll come out with a new model every other month. So by the time a new model comes out, you'll be asking the same question, shall I wait? So I would say, Go for it.

Decisions decisions, i'd rather wait a little cause i plan to keep my next PDA for a good year or two so i don't think 16mb will be enough to sustain it with all these new applications coming out all the time.
