I've been unable to HotSynch for three weeks. Too much data on T3 without backup. Palm Help Forum mute. Palm e-mail Technical Support hasn't answered four(4) pleas for assistance. The Palm HotSynch troubleshooting guide solves nothing. Please send useful knowledge.
PC: IBM P-III Windows 2000 HotSynch Manager 6.0, , Palm Desktop 4.1.4.
T3: OS 5x , HotSynch 5.0P
When I try to HotSynch, the SDRAM reader icon appears in the bottom toolbar tray. Removing it from the registry just makes windows replace it.
Can you help, please!

As a last resort, you can always try a Bluetooth hotsync, or use a card backup program...

I'm confused as to what you mean by "SDRAM reader icon" appearing in bottom toolbar tray. And what exactly happens? Does it just bug you?
Is this an icon for a usb card reader?
Which tray? In Windows - the lower right or lower left hand?
Are you able to hotsync at all? If not what kind of error messages are you getting?
Have you checked your Hotsync Manager conduit settings? Maybe you install a trial version of something that put a conduit into Hotsync Mgr and now needs to be disabled.

Sounds like you downloaded Hotsync 4.1.4E. Try installing an older version from your CD as I'm not sure that Hotsync Manager 6.0 is backward compatible with older devices.

Thank You - It just seemed too simple to be true. A simple de-installation and re-installation seems to work just fine!
