Moving up... But with a couple of questions

Good afternoon,

Just upgraded to a TX from a Tungsten E (1). Seems to be a very good machine, however I have a couple of quick questions...

The outer edges of the screen seem to be slightly darker than the rest of the screen and is mostly seen when the screen brightness is set to low. It is barely noticeable, but is it normal?

After playing around with Agendus Pro 10 and some of the WiFi features in the application, opening Media caused a Hard Reset. Are hard resets common?

Has anyone tried CIC's WordComplete application?

I have an old leather case with a small magnetic clasp. Will it cause any damage to the screen, WiFi, etc.?

Resets are typically the result of installing system or preferences files from previous device, incompatible third party software or hacks.

Thanks for the information. I have yet to install anything except the TX Home fix (from Mobile Stream) that does much with the system. No preferences are coming over, as Palm Desktop is installed on a new computer, with no other Palm information on it. I would imagine that it is an Agendus problem more than anything...

i have the covertec leather case (in red which i LOVE) and it has a magnetic clasp and it works fine with the wifi.

Agendus 10 is greenlighted here (http://palmfacts.com/devices/tx/software.php). Perhaps you are using an older version?
