 I'm pretty new at using handhelds. Bought a Zire 71 last summer and recently moved up to a Palm T/X. I've been using the contacts and calander feature mostly and love it. My questions is tring to learn more about the Palm's. Does anybody know of any good magizines, books etc.. I've already read Palm Pilots for dummies. Also are their any web sites explainig the jargon used (i.e PDF, hacks etc...). Thanks

You can pick up a few magazines at Barnes and Noble. I picked up some and they had good information.
And welcome to 1 Source!

Welcome to 1src! ^^
Here's some tips:
Magazines usually give you reviews and previews on the newest models, but only give you the most basic tips.
For some real tips, THIS IS THE PLACE!! Look around, search the fourm and ask questions. You'll soon tune your gadget to the max:)

I remember when I got my Palm m125 back in the day. :) It had some pamphlets, some manuals, and advertisements. I looked at every feature that the Palm m125 can do and was amazed. I just liked reading it and looking at the nice pictures. Now I realise, I don't think Palm puts in as much "huzzah" you got a Palm as before.

I've recently set up a blog focused on newbies discussing originally on the default Palm programs. I use Macromedia flash simulations and screenshots of the programs to provide a good idea of how they work, and navigating through the various menus. Later on, I will be discussing third party applications and tips and tricks I've found. You may be interested in checking it out. http://maceyr.blogspot.com

The TX support page at palm.com has a getting started guide and the User Guide (manual) is accessed from Help in Palm Desktop. Of course, exploring every menu is also a good thing along with cruising forums. Wikipedia is good for explaining jargon; Google is handy too.
