Dear friends,

I'm a newbie to this forum
I have ux-50 with broken digitizer . Where can I buy the new digitizer ? I live in indonesia and sony handheld doesn't have support center in Indonesia. I really appreciate any help. Thanks before.

by digitizer are you meaning stylus? you can get stylus on the internet shops like brando (brando.com.hk)

I believe he's talking about the "touch-screen" layer that's above the color display. It's what enables users to Interact with what is on the screen. I honestly don't know where you'd get one, just clearing up with a Digitizer is. If I'm mistaken, I apologize XD.

If he is a newbie, I don't think he is mentioning the layer of LCD that enable touch-screen. Therefore, I agree "shriek" and assume "edcom" is referring to stylus.

I think he's referring to the digitizer. I dunno but usually new users to PDA's call the stylus a pen. This person must know something about his clie as he didn't call it a pen or touchscreen. I'm assuming he knows what a stylus is. Post back and let us know, OP!

Just because he's a newbie to the forum doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't know the difference between a stylus and a digitizer :P. I've actually never heard a newblet refer to his stylus as a digitizer. Also, the fact that something is broken indicates that He might have been using his UX50 for a while. Also, what's harder to find? A stylus, or a digitizer? Oh well, never do know how misinformed some people are, Including myself :D. Please reply Indonesian guy!

Sorry friends, The digitizer I said is the touch screen ( just like bro TaiNgo said). I broke (scratched deeply) my UX-50 screen & the touchscreen didn't work anymore. It happened when I leave My UX at my working desk & somebody messing with it. It was really sad for me because I like my UX very much. So if anybody know where to buy it, please kindly inform me.
Sorry for causing bias between stylus & touchscreen.
