Hot Sync Doesn't Sync

My trusty TH55 doesn't sync any more. When I try it connects to the PC as a USB device and doesn't initiate the hotsync manager. If I use the Data Import feature its recognized as a USB device but never actually connects. Everything worked previously. I reinstalled the hotsync app but it didn't help. Suggestions? I backed my data up to the memory card but I haven't tried cold booting yet.

I've never tried wireless hotsyncing. Interestingly I just discovered that my Plucker desktop has also stopped working.

You could try a hard reset first, sync with your computer and test out the handheld function. If the problem still exists, delete and reinstall the Palm Desktop and sync software. There are so many millions of combinations of apps and conduits that diagnosing the loss of hotsync ability is quite difficult.
