Does anyone know a alternative browser? NetFront keeps freezing up on me...

Try this thread here (http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94504) to see about using Opera Mini.

It can be stretched using CodeDiver but the results are a little unpredictable. It works fine for me stretched in Landscape and Portrait, but JAmerican reported a few issues...

Have you got Portrait and CodeDiver installed?

CodeDriver, not portrait. Do you have a link to portrait? It is $10, right? :o

It's ten dollars but there is a free trial if I remember correctly. You can also use thread.Webpro (http://www.palm.com/us/software/palm/#webbrowsers), which I never use but this is an alternatives thread. I dont remember how i got Webpro on my Clie but freewarepalm has it up here (http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/palmwebpro301fortungstent3.shtml).

First off, add Opera to the list of applications which CodeDiver stretches. Once that is done, ensure that Portrait is enabled and then fire up Opera. Tap and hold the toolbar to switch orientation. Initially the app appears to be 320x320, but by switching orientation again, the app goes to fullscreen.
Let me know if this des not work and I will investigate further. And the $10 investment in Portrait is a sound one in my opinion ;)

Just remember that Opera Mini goes through some online proxy which pre-formats the content for the browser, so some pages will look a little odd at times :)
Enjoy yourself!

It is a little annoying to start, becuase you have to flip the screen. And how it shows pages, I wish I could zoom out, but it is fast. Very fast
