ZLauncher Skins

I can't seem to get any of the ZLauncher skins/themes to function that end with the .rar designation. The regular zip files function fine, but not those with the .rar ending. Can anyone help?

you need something like winrar to open .rar files

Is there any benefit to using a .rar format as opposed to a .zip format? Just curious.

RAR compresses things more than ZIP does. Since there's a file size limit to what we can upload here, some people use RAR to get the file small enough to squeek in.

.rar does compress things more. Also a program like WinRar can also unzip .zip files also

yes, just that .rar files not as famous as zip.
