ClieFiles 1.1 and Wl-100 driver 1.1.3

The US Sony support site now has ClieFiles 1.1 (a lot of info on this in other threads) and an updated driver for the WL-100.  This driver:

-Displays MAC address in "wireless Lan detailed settings"

-adds compatibility for more access points

Trying it now - of course ClieFiles has been available for a week+ in various places. I've now tried to install WL 100 update 5 times without success though; not sure what the problem is

I think Sony has messed up on the files - they are both ClieFiles (arrgh). The Wl100 update says "cliefiles" when hotsyncing and when I put the wl100 update on an MS and it comes up with the ClieFiles logo. Also did a binary file comparison - they're the same.
So maybe at some point they'll give us the new driver :(

Sony messed up the files, WL 100 is not there yet, the file that it says is WL100, is really ClieFiles
They might fix the website soon:)

Both updates worked fine for me. I just unzipped a file I d/l from the web on the Clie with it :). Netfront saved it automatically to the archive dir. I also hotsynced a zip file over IR and it put it in the correct dir. This is exactly what I needed.

Does anyone know the difference US and non-US versions?

My NX70V was bought in Hong Kong but I go the US SONY site for updates. It gives me this warning about the updates are for US devices only, but I've not seen the updates on SONY HK.

Does anyone know any issues with installing these files on my device?

In theory they should work. The clie viewer and image updaters are not on the US site but they are on the HK. I installed both on my US clie and they work fine. The viewer though was in Japanese. You can use palm resource editor to change those if you are feeling squirly enough. If you know japanese and english you could just leave it as is.

No luck. It seems their FTP server is dead (yesterday and today).

People, could anybody please email me a copy of the updated WL100 driver to oyakov_palm at hotmail.com . I would really appreciate it.
