MS problems

I have had problems with my NX reading a sony MG memory stick lately. I have read extensively about this problem and tried pressing the C on the back and noticed a change. I have had this problem one other stick and am chewing twice the dosage of nicotine gum.
I am looking into paper trick (NR)

. Has anyone had similar problems? they start with problems reading the stick (?) in the status bar until I click it in and out a couple of times, and end in no read at all. This stick has not gotten to that point yet but a previous one did. Has anyone tried the paper trick on NX? Anxiously, Francis

It was a problem on the NR70 and I took mine apart and fixed it, but it was an extremely delicate operation, more like brain surgery. It's possible that the contacts have slight oxidation.

I haven't had any difficulty since I had acquired my NX last October.

Larry, thank you, I think that it is the memory stick I will purchased another and hopefully it works fine, I wonder if I am to ruff on the MS or they are not sturdy enough. I want to buy ms pro but fear the same problem with a bigger price tag. Is there a fix for oxidation? nevermind I will search. I also am grateful for your answer I was starting to feel like the last kid to get picked for the kickball game. No-one responding to my post. I know it's not my breath. Probably depth. Francs
