I am running the Wonder-Silk Application, and have been using the Wonder-Maker application to generate skins for Wonder-silk.

The Wonder-Maker application comes with a palette file called Palm256.act. This seems to be the palette for those who wish to use Adobe Photoshop.

I am probably one of the few who do not use Adobe Photoshop. I much prefer using Corel/Procreate Painter 7. I'm not going into my real reasoning as to why I like this software much better than Photoshop... but I do.

Painter Palette Files have a .pal extension on them instead of the .act.

Since Painter uses any/all of the addins/plugins which Photoshop has, I tried to utilize the palette for Photoshop, but Painter doesn't like the files (.act & .aco) at all. :(

Does anyone out here have this 8bit palette for PalmOS for Painter??????

Any/all Help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!! :)

I know this is kind of a cheezy way to do it, but I usually just try to take the skins I want, put them in windows paint, and save them as 256 colors, there is sometimes a lot of color loss, but sometimes you get lucky, check these out:

Both madewith
90% windows paintbrush
10% adobe 6 (just for rotations, transparency, & resize)
