My T2 sometimes seems to "tap" and launch anything in the bottom right of the screen, with or without any third party software installed all by itself. Upon hard reset the digitizer cross moves across the screen by its self on occasions, could someone help?

Common causes of this are:

a bad digitizer - sorry
screen protectors (might be wedged between the screen and the bezel)
bezel itself might be warped/bent putting pressure on the screen

First thing to try is to take off (at least temporarily) any screen protectors you may have and see if that fixes anything.

thanks for the reply but i don't use a screen protector.does this mean that it is a hardware fault with the digitizer?

I can't say with any certainty, but that's what I'd lean towards. Maybe others will chime in with other suggestions. I know some people use digitizer callibration programs (DigiE I think is one of them), but if there is something constantly acting like a tapping, it sounds more like the digitizer is being pressed by something, like a bezel or there's a physical fault with the digitizer unit itself.

Could also be dirt between the case and the edge of the digitizer. Try folding the corner of a piece of paper and going carefully around the edge of the digitizer, under the case no more than 2mm, to dislodge whatever might be there. Also, sometimes screen protector can get under the case and cause similar symptoms.

On the topic of screen protectors, has anyone tried the one that comes with the T|2? It's the "Palm Premium". I just got my T|2 replaced and saw the protector, but I'm a little uncertain about using it. I've heard great things about Boxwave, etc., but was wondering if anyone used the one that comes in the box.

Thanks!
