I have a palm m130 and I told the install to sync with outlook, thus I am using the chapura pocket mirror. The conduits all say synchronize the data, the settings accessed within outlook all say synchronize the data.
The problem is that when I enter a new appointment or whatever on the palm and go to sync it outlook/chapura grabs the appointment and I see it in oulook, but it has disappeared from the palm. This only happens with the datebook, if I enter new items in memo,todo or contacts it syncs fine. The first time it happened I told the conduits to overwrite the handheld, I got everything back and the remainder of the day it synced fine, if I entered in the palm it showed in outlook and I could still see it on the palm (I tested it several times and with various situations, i.e. conflicting items, changing both the palm and outlook items and syncing, etc)
However it has happened again. I had entered some stuff over the weekend and was trying to sync it to my work computer and it shows up in outlook but has disappeared off my palm.
I only sync with my work computer so there are no multi-computer problems.
Other info:
There is no security masking on records
The records are not marked private anyway
I am on the right year/month/day
When I sync I see the missing appointments appearing on the progress bar, but they don't show in the palm
I am using the standard datebook (no fancy add-ons for me)
A co-worker has intellisync and I tried that to see if it would work, the same problem occurs
I have tried all of Chapura's solutions to this problem and none have helped
