That's pretty, Smeggie. If only they made a version for TH55...*sigh* Oh well, next PDA's probably going to be a Treo, so I'll definitely be purchasing one of these as well! I'm kinda weirded out by the "notches" on the sides. I'm assuming they're just to help your grip...but I think I'd rather have it smoother, like a Boxwave Flexiskin.

See my other Toughskin thread for the pics.

i GOT THE SKIN TIGHT VERSION A LITTLE SMALLER BUT STILL COOLER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE.Yeah, I really like the rubber feel that these things have. As a matter of fact, I will likely never own another leather case I like the rubber so much.
Rubber is very unrated.

Thanks for the pictures. How do you like the plastic cover for the screen? Are you using it? Does it fit well? Does it seem to really provide protection?

BettyYou are very welcome, BettyE!!
I started off using the plastic cover but I realized that I interface with the screen WAYYYYYY too often and it didn't make sense for me to try to keep it on. It fits very well in fact they beveled the sides of the plastic screen so they tuck nicely into the grooves that were put into this well-though out design. If you were to use the whole case and the plastic cover, you'd pretty much have to be in Iraq to have to worry about damaging it.

Does the plastic cover over the screen flip up? It looks from the picture that it hinges from the top.

It looks from the picture that it hinges from the top.Yeah, there are two little pins in the plastic cover that fit into two raised 'hinge-holes' in the rubber case. It rotates up very cleanly and down just the same. It's a nice feature but I took it off because I come from a long line of 'tappers.'

it looks like there is a cover over the audio and the connector on the bottom, will it fit into the seidio cradle with the skin on and can I still plug my headphones into the treo to listen to music while riding my motorcyle? Oh and the main buttons, 5-way and others, now that you've used it a bit, how do they respond?
thanx

:rolleyes:The buttons work better with the cover on. There are tiny raised nipples on each button that make them easier to find and depress. The connector on the bottom is partially covered with a hinged flap that is an exact cut-out of that area however I have been very tempted to cut off - but haven't because it probably does keep some crap from getting into the connector. The flap bends away so you can use your headphones however you probably shouldn't be doing it while riding your bike... :)
Can you use your Seidio cradle with the cover on? You're gonna have to call them for the answer on this one.

I've been tempted to find a way to answer while riding but if there have been volume issues while in a car, imagine what the volume level would have to be while riding a ninja (that's a motorcycle for those of you who just had a brain fart). ;)

Have had it for a loooong time, pretty nice program, but even with that it would not work. About the case, have you gotten any stuff under the rubber...rubbing on the treo?

Hey man! I did my time! You and the man can't keep hanging that over my head - I'm clean I'm tellin' ya!!
Uh...what do you mean by stuff? Like gravel and sawdust and dirt and copper wire and stuff? No, I never get any of that stuff under the rubber because I sell software...and only occasionally do I run into sawdust and the like while on the job. ;)
I do, however, keep a DVD tray opener or , as I like to call it, a reset tool, under the skin between the Treo and the skin. I haven't looked but my guess is that it hasn't moved since I put it there.
Now, I once dated a young woman many moons ago who somehow got under the rubber and would rub my Treo. But that's an altogether different story...
Back to being cool,
