Before I get started w/ this, don't flame me - I'm just looking for advice or impressions. I'm about to either buy a Treo 650 or an HTC Wizard (as soon as they're available in my area). Let's put cost aside, because I can get both for the same price. I know this is a Treo forum, but I'm trying to get feedback about the leap from POS to PPC. One thing I am finding I definitely need is a program on PPC that is like Diddlebug - and it has to have shape choices. I use it for my work daily and has come in as essential. Any progs like this for PPC?
Also, I'm wondering about the overall ease of use between Palm and PPC. I tried an HP out in Staples the other day and when I went to use the "5-way" button, it hardly accomplished anything. Navigation on the unit w/o using the stylus seemed difficult. Is that pretty well expected for PPC? I guess I'm trying to find out from some who have used both (POS and PPC) to give me the pros & cons between the two. Thanks.

Check out BargainPDA's reviews of the x51 and TX as they were written by the same person, Adama. He would be a good guage. GFunk is also a good person as he too seems to have had experience with WM5 as well as the palmOS. Finally speaking, hate to be leading folks away from here like this but there has been things written so I'll say, PalmSolo.com (Palmsolo from PDAGeek) had been going back and forth with a 650 and QTek model and would be able to give you some of the info you seek.

Personally I prefer Palm OS, it is very easy to use and gets the job done. However, I have yet to try windows mobile with the new one handed enhancements that they have applied. In the end, it is truly up to the user. Both platforms have excellent third party software that enhances the experience.
