So I have my 25% off coupon from sony for clie accessories. Theres only two things that really interest me on the site. The 3 pack of sylus and the screen protector. Does anyone else have these two items and if so what do you think of them?
For those wondering why I don't want the WiFi or the speaker cradle. Not enough $$$ at the moment and I can get the WiFi cheaper through someone else. Plus by the time I have the cash it will probably have gone down.
Anyway thanks for your help and input. -MD

Anyone have anything to say about the stylus or the screen protector?

I'll just say that the Sony styli aren't that great. You'll do better buying 1 perfect one from a third party for the same price. Check this forum for threads on a recommended stylus.
Also, search the forums for screen protectors. There's some good ones out there. Not sure if the Sony one was reviewed or not. Me personally, I've never used screen protectors cause they increase friction with the surface. If you have a good stylus, you won't be scratching your screen. Also, some maintenance with wax and your screen works smoothly.

Cool, thanks for the input. I had a feeling the sony stylus wasn't that great and that people generally don't like the screen protector. So I guess my 25% is pretty much useless. Oh well. I was planning on getting a heavier stylus (Even though the one provided is fine by my standards), so maybe I'll hold off and get it later.

I´m really satisfied with the Sony Screenprotectors, nearly
the same Quality as Brando´s, but a little tooo expensive,
for my taste.
But if you get them for free, get them...

Mad_Dogg-
Like I said, screen protectors are a personal issue. I know people who swear by them, like NR70V-o-holic (congrats on your 100th post!). Just try it out at a store or something and see.
Remember, just because you have a coupon doesn't mean you'll be saving 25%. You might be wasting 75%. ;)

Good point. The more I think about the more I realize I don't really need a screen protector. I'm really good with taking care of my stuff (Example my old PDA S360 still looks brand new). So I think I can hold off on the screen protector. Also good point about wasting 75%.

I really don't like the stylus that came with my clie, or any other pda for that matter. I purchased several styli before I settled on one that I really like.
I recommend the PhDmulti...it is a pen, a pencil and a stylus...the thick feel is really easy on the hand and easy to use. It's about $9 at office depot.
I use Fellows WriteRight Micro-thin screen protectors....they cost about $20 for a pack of 12. I really like them, although they are a bit hard to put on and make sure there no bubbles. I like the peace of mind they bring...I can use my fingers on the screen with no worrys of dirtying it and I can wipe it clean with my shirt or tie or anything else and not worry about scratching it.
hope this helped.
