Well it finally happend, I snapped and got the tx. For those of you who know me, you know how obsessed I am with my e2. So now for the qustion, do I perfer the much higher priced, idealy better palm? The answer is no.The tx happens to be a great overall device but if clie was still here they would be laughing there faces off. the th55 which is the t5 was out 2 years ago!,I understand palm is the target of buyers who will buy steadily and not just keep wanting more of technology, but still, lets pick up the pace a little bit palm. (I am not critisizing palm in ANY way, I am just expressing the feeling of holding the tx) The e2 on the other hand is steady, simple, and all around perfect device. it's nothing super special but it does evereything u need, if they made it in 5 years from now the same, but with higher resolution it woul still be great, and bought evereywhere. The e2 is not trying anything fancy but at the same time, doing everything needed. WIFI? no problem go out and buy a card, so the point i'm trying to put across is (if anyone has been drifting out from all this). If you are looking for a new palm and debating between x and e2, I beleve the e2 will fit your needs, a wee bit more then t5.

Well that makes me a little happier.
I bought an E2 a couple of weeks ago. 2 days later they were selling it $AU50 cheaper due to the TX being available. The E2 is my first palm and now I want a bit more grunt for video etc and was looking at the TX. But after learning more about the E2 I love it. Does what I need, except for decent video playback and background audio.

Tell me, as far as video and stuff is concerned, is the 50 percent speed increase offset by the 50 percent larger screen res? Or does the TX handle video a lot better than the e2?
