I am looking for info on Sd cards. Does the speed of the card matter in Palm devices (650,tx etc) for loading podcasts, pics etc? What brands are the best as I have heard most cards are rebranded? Can someone explain? Post some good links would be appreciated? I did a search for "sd card", "sd cards", sd card speed" and nothing. I find alot of searchs are two years old and 512 cards where the hit back then. :D

Speed usually only matters for writing on the card. I got that super cheap Kingston 512mb SD card. The read speed is perfectly fine, didn't see a difference. The write speed is really slow. So it takes a long time to fill it up with mp3s and videos. The only thing you don't wnat this card for is cameras. Do not use it for taking pictures or video. Its extremly slow for that.

And if you are using USB !, speed won't matter ;)
