I have a TG50 too. I have XP professional and all the necessary drivers are included on the CD.
I am able to hotsync to PC and install all the software that comes on same CD. Therefore, I am not sure what is your problem then.
So far, I am struggling on making a wireless connection between my PC and the Clie via Bluetooth....
Good luck...

I have XP pro also but for some reason I can't find the drivers on the CD.
I used a spare WinMe machine to do my hotsync's.
As far as the bluetooth net surfing. I went to compusa and purchased a Belkin Bluetooth access point for $150.00. Once you have that you can search for bluetooth devices on your clie and it will find it. Once connected you can open NetFront and you should be straight. Are you sure the Xp drivers are on that disc and do I have to manually browse the disc for the correct driver.

You should have no problem in XP.
My PC and Laptop are all XP. All I need to do to is to install the applications using the supplied CD and then I restarted the PC.
Pressing the hotsync button, XP started to detect my clie and install the necessary drivers. No sweat!

Thank you.. maybe I need to install service pack 1. I haven't done it because it wasn't allowing me to do it. But now the service pack is installed and I will try again after work..
Thank you very much.. By the way, did XP install the drivers from the Sony CD or the the OS itself?

If you installed the software using the default directories, then when XP asks for a location for the clie, point it here:
C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\USB_Driver
That should do it.

That's the one thing I think Palm is doing better than Sony. When you install the Palm software, it can detect the USB driver itself without asking you the driver location. I don't know why Sony can't do this.

I am actually quite confused!
It did not prompt anything, XP found the USB driver itself after I do a hotsync. I never need to point to anywhere! ;)

I think it depends on whether you are upgrading from an older Handheld. When I installed Palm desktop for the first time with my visor in Win. XP it worked fine, but when I re-installed it for my Treo 90 I had to point the driver out for it. Wierd huh?
