Battery problem

Hi, i opened up my ux50 today to do the usb charging mod. However, i pulled off the usb thingy a bit too roughly. Fearing damage, i replaced everything and tried to turn it on. To my horror, it doesn't turn on... The weirdest thing is, when i put it on the cradle, instead of a orange light, it's a green light! I turned it on while still on the cradle and restored the backup. Checking the battery window reveals this :

Power : External
Status : Full
Remain : 100%

I disconnected and reconnected the battery, but it still has this problem.
I even tried changing to the old battery, but to no avail. Can anyone help me with this matter?

It can work with the eb40, but as soon as i disconnect it, it just lose power and i have to restore the backup again.. Anyone had this happen to your ux50? Please help, i'm really freaked out!
